On September 13 and 14 the Warszawskie Centrum Expo XXI opened its doors for the second edition of the "MonetyExpo Warsaw 2013". After the first edition in 2012 the polish capital receipted enthusiasts of coins, banknotes, stamps and old stocks and bonds. The Expo visitors came from Poland but also from other European countries.
The German company Scripovest AG participated with a booth for the first time. The company is one of the most important retailers of old stocks and bonds and was able to approach these papers to collectors from Eastern European countries. "It is very difficult to predict if Poland gets the same importance as Russia concerning the market for old stocks and bonds" says Volker Malik, CEO of Scripovest AG. While the demand for Russian bonds and stocks grew widely during the past years, Malik adds that "the market for Polish bonds and stocks still is very selective. But every trend has to start one day ...!"
